  • Dear Golfbase - In these days of every man for himself, it is refreshing to come across an organisation that does what it says it will do, and does it efficiently. So I felt the need to put down a few words by way of thanks for my recent experience. Each June I travel to the Scottish Borders for three days to play golf with 15 friends. Our organiser decided that this year it would be fun if on our second day we wore what he described as "flamboyant golf attire", with a suitable prize for the most eye-catching.

    With this in mind, at the end of May, I ordered from you, via Amazon, a Mizuno Performance Pique Polo Shirt in orange, medium size. This duly arrived, but sadly it was too small. I followed your advice regarding Customer Returns, and posted the shirt back to you on the 4th of June. As we were due to depart for Scotland on the 12th, I re-ordered directly from yourselves on the 4th of June, this time asking for size large. I was delighted when the shirt arrived on the 8th of June, the size being fine this time. Shortly afterwards my Amex account was credited correctly for the returned shirt. Alas, I did not win the prize for "most flamboyant", but I think it's fair to say that the shirt got an honourable mention. The good news is that I won the individual golf prize on the first day, came second on the last day, and won the trophy for overall points scored in the three days. So once again many thanks for your excellent service, I will have no hesitation in recommending you to my golfing friends.

I sent it back using your Free returns service and requested a Large as an exchange. The new sweater arrived within a few days, hassle free.   • Hello, just thought I would drop you a quick note to tell you that I have a great customer experience when using your site/service. The level of contact throughout the customer experience is just right (if a little early on the morning of delivery, but I think i can live with it). When I had cause to call your shop to discuss returning a product I was met with a bright cheery person on the other end of the phone whose only concern was that I was happy with the product and your service. He put me on the right track as to how to return the product and organise a replacement.

Usually emails to businesses are prompted by bad experience and good work often goes without praise, but I felt it necessary to highlight my experience to you. Just as I will recommend your business when I am on the course in my new gear.
  • Hi, Just like to say what fantastic service you provided; I received the replacement bag yesterday which was only 2 days after I posted the faulty one back to you; you can't get better than that.
    Also your shipping company Interlink provided a great service; they texted me on Monday to say that it would be delivered the next day and then on Tuesday morning texted again to say what time it would be.
    Great service all round; will definitely buy from Golfbase again.

It is always difficult for shoppers buying over the net, yes you can find good prices but not always do you find good customer service when you need it, I am very happy to say this is not the case with your firm you could not have been more helpful and the communication was top notch - I have just placed an order with you for another pair of shoes and i am sure i will continue to buy my golf shoes from you in the future .thank you once again from a very satisfied customer.
